Clio Bize Dobyns is an associate at Matthew L. Mercer’s Westerly, Rhode Island office. She drafts estate planning documents with a focus on eliminating estate taxes, avoiding probate, and protecting assets from long term care costs. Such plans include revocable trusts, irrevocable Medicaid asset protection trusts, special needs trusts, Wills, Durable Powers of Attorney, Health Care Advance Directives including Health Care Powers of Attorney, HIPAA authorizations, and Living Wills, among other related documents.

Clio is a member of the Rhode Island Bar Association and The Estate Planning Council of Rhode Island. She earned her B.A. in Psychology from Skidmore College, in Saratoga Springs, New York and her J.D. from Drexel University School of Law, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Clio is licensed to practice law in Rhode Island.
